Why can't pulmonary embolism patient take aspirin or any ibuprofen drugs?

Why can't pulmonary embolism patient take aspirin or any ibuprofen drugs?

I believe aspirin is an anticoagulant. I thought the problem with pulmonary embolism is blood clots traveling to the lungs. So wouldn't the priority here is to dissolve that clot? Why then the treatment is to not take aspirin, an anticoagulant?

One of the key points of anticoagulation therapy is patient SHOULD NOT take drugs containing aspiring (Iggy, Medical Surgical Nursing)
